Shower issue

Hi all.
I've just moved into a new property
& The shower head is fixed to the wall onto this fitting.
There is no shower hose & the family are complaining they can't shower properly.
Can anyone advise me where to find something that would convert this to a shower hose & head, please?
This fitting is 3 cm wide.

Your just missing the spray part of the head, you can just buy a new one without any need to re plumb.

It's missing the shower head?? or have you just removed it to show the fitting?

If you have just removed it and because it's a balled swivel end there's not a lot that will go onto that and be watertight to get a hose onto it. Sometime the can be unscrewed by using an allan key in the hole but I cant tell if that one is. If you can do that and get that off and get it back to just a pipe end then that may be able to converted, using a male nipple.

Yes, I've removed the head to show what it is. I've been to a couple of merchants who tell me the 3 cm fitting end isn't compatible with standard shower hoses & that I need to get a plumber to remove the fitting from the pipe & replace it a standard one.
