I have had a look thru the Internet, but have failed to find a shower mixer valve which is fitted to the bathroom wall and can be fed by chrome pipes running down the bathroom tiled wall from holes in the ceiling instead of having to chase the walls out.

Currently the shower water comes off the bath taps and suffers from massive hot-cold swings.

If I connect the hot pipe just above the hot water tank outlet and the cold feed from the cold water tank it should be ok, as long as there is enough head of water. Yes, I know it won't be powerful and suffer from some temperature swings, but all other options involve pumps and expense etc!

Any comments please!
Thanks

most shower valves that are fixed centrally to the wall should be ok, you can nearly always angle the connections anyway you wish.
