I have a power shower (Brightplan pump) the plastic mixer for which (Opella) has a normally closed magnetic switch inside it connected to the pump via bell wire. When the mixer is turned on water flows, the contact opens and switches on the shower pump.

The mixer has split along a moulded seam and is leaking. I would like to replace it, but cannot locate a replacement mixer with a switch.

Extensive enquiries regarding a replacement have drawn a blank. Is this a unique system? Anyone know how to fix it?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem.

Have you been able to do anything to sort out yours?

I.e. fix it / replace flow switch? / replace pump?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

regards

Rob

have you a pic of your shower valve as i have a brightplan mixer valve in garage removed from a job that the customer wanted removing.
