Hi All,

Bit of a longshot but worth asking. My redring 8S shower just suddenly stopped working. There is definitely power to the unit, the power light comes on when turned on but there is temperature led that used to light up when power swtiched on and this no longer does. Also no water flows through. Pump isn't running as I can't hear it. Have looked inside for anything obvious such as a connection loose etc but all looks in order.

Anything I can check to see if its fixable. I am about a month way from having bathroom done when this shower was going to be thrown out and replaced with a non power shower so hoping I can get it running just to see us through.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You will find that it's not worth spending the money on repairing it as your due to have your bathroom replaced soon

Speaking from experience you will find the cost of spare parts on a lot of electric showers is expensive and sometimes cheaper to replace the shower unit

It could well be the solenoid that has packed up, I don't think this part is still available.
If you have a two pole/probe continuity test meter, you could test across the solenoid for continuity.
