In the bathroom we have an Iflow shower http://www.iflo.co.uk/Products/Products.asp?DisplaySKU=400110&Category=SHOWERS. The problem with it is that the water almost always comes out luke warm despite being hot at the inlet (if i put my hand on the pipe its hot). In our bathroom the hot water pressure is really very low and much lower than the cold. My thinking is that because there is such a difference in pressures and they are both not that great anyway, the shower thermostat can't operate properly. Any ideas coz its doing my head in and has never worked properly!

These bar showers are mostly only suited to high pressure (mains) supplies and will not work properly on unbalanced supplies as you seem to have.
If you still have the manufactures fitting instructions it will tell you what supply pressures / pressure differences it will work under.
