I have a an Aqualisa power shower, which is roughly 8 years old. Generally it works ok, but in the summer months it always seems to freeze when you first use it. It seems to make a shunting groaning noise before it dies. It only works when the circuit breaker is reset. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Is the shower head blocked?
Take off the shower head and run the shower to see if fails.
