Hey, I'm a newbie here so please be gentle with me
Basically I have just installed a shower pump SALAMANDER CT50 double impeller. All is fine, I used a surrey flange, but I'm now commissioning it and need some clarification of the instructions :
* they say: flush inlet pipework and carefully fill pump with water by discharging into a container (i take it they mean a bucket)?
* then they say: fit pump inlet filters.
My concern is, if i fit the filters AFTER the first fill and flush through, won't any crap in the pipework, ie loose copper, flux, etc , etc get into the pump and damage it????? Is it a misprint?
Anyone done this before?
