If the pump is higher than the cylinder on a shelf, some pump manufacturers require an anti gravity loop in the hot feed to the pump.
This is simply a downward loop of pipe work that then loops up to the pump, a bit like a u shape. This prevents air going to the pump, on the hot side.
Some pump manufacturers don't honour the guarantee if you don't follow the installation instructions.

not instead of a gravity loop no or you will be forever bleeding it.
