Hello all.

I am planning on redoing the bathroom and fitting a 1.5bar shower pump I have spare.

The bathroom is on the ground floor and the water tanks on the 1st, where the best place to put the pump? Next to the hot water cylinder on the 1st floor, or under the bath on the ground?

Will it being on the ground floor and having better pressure/head create a better shower/pressure?

Thanks in advance.

It should go next to your cylinder. A 1.5. bar pump will be reasonably ****e though, it'll be 1.5bar rated static head, you'll see a slight improvement but I suspect you'll be disappointed by how little

Ha.. Hoped so.. Thanks.

Now.. Pump has 15mm inlets, what do I run the pipework in?

22mm dropping to 15mm to the pump, do I run 15mm to the shower? Prob about 3m run.
