shower pump stays on, is it the flowswitch??

Hi,
Our shower pump has suddenly started staying on after we have switched the power shower off. The only way we can get it to switch off is to turn it off at the wall, then turn it back on again. I have done a search on this forum for any previous posts, but the only one seems to intimate that there may be a problem with the flow switch.
Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

I had the same problem. A little piece of plastic swarf (from when I had installed the cold ****er tank) had got sucked down the pipe when I drained th e system and stuck under the flow switch.

Best to isolate the pump, remove the pipes and check the filters.
