Shower RCD ref

Yes I Know about cable size and RCDs or RCBO with showers but I cannot fot the life of me find a reference in the regs. I know it is a high risk cct but my calculation still had a disconnect time of 0.1s with a ccb so why and where is the reference to fit rcd?

RCD's are not needed for a shower in general, but most people do still use one.

Because their hand is forced by the manufacturers who advise use of one in their installation manuals.
