I'm looking for a shower tray for a new bathroom.

I bought a Mira Flight as I'd seen several recommendations for these including in reply to another post I made regarding materials

However I have now received two trays with faults. The first one I noticed a visible bulge in the acrylic on one corner and it appeared as if it had not bonded correctly to the resin. Mira agreed to a replacement which I received yesterday. This one has a similar issue on another corner and actually the resin underneath the acrylic on this corner is crumbling and flaking to the point where several chunks fell out when I opened the tray. I'm starting to lack confidence in this tray so I'm inclined to return for a refund and buy something else.

The tray will be 1200 x 800 so a fairly standard size. Ideally I would like the waste central along the short side, rather than central along the long side or in the corner, though I realise this significantly limits my options, so I'm willing to deviate from this if needed.

The question is what to buy?

There aren't many with the waste on the short side on this size. Elements are good also Aquadart, and cheap, but again not in this orientation.

Maybe this one? Rak ceramics good brand https://www.showertraysuk.co.uk/rak-feeling-rectangular-shower-tray-1200mm-x-800mm-solid-white
By Elements are you referring to MX Elements? I've read various good things about MX but I must admit the prices seemed a little too cheap to be any good! The positioning of the waste is fairly important though and of the three options having the waste central to the long side would be the last choice.

The Rak is a little on the pricey side but looks a nice option, and the textured stone effect would add a little luxury over a cheaper acrylic tray. Will see what other recommendations people come up with but that's definitely an option.

Look up Eastbrook ones to see if there's something suitable. Hope you find the right one for you
