Shower tray up stands any good

Hi
I have done quite a few bath rooms but not that keen so try to avoid.
Shower trays with up stands(15-20mm ish) around the edge any good never used them.Its my house so any extra time fitting making square not a issue.
Last standard one in for 10 years ok tanked walls etc just started to leak but ready for update so now all ripped out.

Yea in my opinion worth the weight in gold, i fitted a matki one at home approx 20 yrs ago still ok not a sighn of a leak, also used 2 pack grout never had to re grout due to mould, cracking etc but you have to clean as you go or its there for good.

Get a tray without an upstand then fit a roll of Classi Seal from www.classic-marble.com - brilliant product
