shower valve

hi all i ave to fit a new shower valve are they all usually the same fittings i.e. female on the valve and male fittings coming through the wall, also they look like 3/4 bsp to me would that be right?

thinking this one will do the job, the guy on the phone couldnt tell me if they were female fittings on the valve, hence the question

Yup, just check your old one is 150mm centre to centre.
