Shower won’t get hot!

Hi all. Not sure if anyone can help. My shower won’t get above lukewarm. It’s not an electric shower and the rest of the taps run hot. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but I don’t know what I’m doing! Any pointing in the right direction would be much appreciated

you've got a combi boiler, haven't you?

did it get less hot when the weather got cold?

Check the head and hose - you might have a restriction/collapsed hose. Maybe try running it without either. Another thing could be blocked inlet filters.

Thermostatic mixer ,manual mixer ,linked to bath taps ....give us a clue ,or show us a picture.

It’s not attached to the bath

If the chrome bar has the word BRISTAN lightly etched on it then you can look at their website for a replacement thermostatic valve. If no name then Chinese copy, throw away ,buy new.

Replace it...about £70...Two nuts to undo..Centres are usually the same..150mm I think.
