Is it possible to install an electric shower from a 13 amp cable? It is wire that would have been used for an emersion heater which as never installed.

No. As far as i understand it`s 6mm twin and earth for 8.5kw and 10mm twin and earth up to 10.5 kw. Best left to a sparky. But they won`t be reading this as they`ll be off having a nap!

yep we even got a 7kW from Wickes, and still needs 6mm cable!
