I want to upgrade my NT1000T to a 1500XT. They look the same shape etc. But are the shower support wall holes, water inlet pipes & electrics the same so I can just swap them or is it more technical than that.
The reason I was thinking of changing the shower was that the guys who changed my boiler also rearranged the pipe work to the shower. I could not control the hot water temp after they did that. After reading the install instructions for the 1500XT I noted that it advised not to use elbow joints. The guys who rearranged the pipes used an elbow joint on the hot water feed therefore impeding the flow. I asked them to change it and it now works fine.
So thanks Bigdek you have saved me a few quid.
