siemans rdh 10/rf on a wb 35cdi. not communicating .new batteries in thermostat.it displays temperature and adjusts for rise on the circular button but boiler will not fire. the boiler recognises a demand for hot water and fires up.
the reset on the sender lights up the yellow button but nothing appears to work for c/h

Do you have a green light at the top of the receiver.
You might need to pair them again, check the instructions for details.
Was it working before new batteries?

dont know how to pair them, cant find reasonable instructions on net but now youve said that ill check the ccr
dont know if it was working before the painter pressed the button that says dont press this button unless there is a communication breakdown
customer is new to house and wants to move in tommorrow

Ahh that explains it

When you get the instructions just pair it again, should wrk.

RF receive the led is green.

No RF within the last 25 mins it goes red.

i pressed the test button on the back, next to the learn button but did not know if the light went green to accept( cos i did not know the correct pairing procedure). will try again in the morning. if the button does not go green can i assume the unit is goosed?
