Unit is about 10 months, old, & I've got no lights at all on the reciever.
Multimeter tells me there's 240v on the inputs, but as I'm using the volt free contacts I can't tell anything else. (At the mo it thinks there's a connection between the two, but I'm reasonably certain it's reading through the boiler, and if I disconnect this it'll go)

Do I presume the unit has failed, or have I overlooked something?

How old are the batteries in the controller?

Here are the Instructions, if you don't have them.

Disconnect one of the volt-free wires, then you will be able to test if the relay closes (0 ohms between volt-free terminals) when the controller calls for heat.

10 months old or there abouts, so batteries would be about the same age.
Far as I can tell the room unit is working just fine, but the wall unit isn't.

Relay isn't doing anything at all even with the override button, and I've got no lights either to indicate power or a loss of connection.

Dead as a dodo
Reconnected the boiler timeclock (Shoot the Ferroli designer of the mounting for this), and I'm working again, but with no roomstat.
