I know this is going to seem a strange thing to ask.

I just purchased a REV24 RF thermostat and functionally its working fine after I installed it.

However, I just wanted to check what is supposed to happen with the LEDs on the receiver. There are 2 LEDs. The left one, can be red if no controller, green if there is a controller...and during a signal test, it can be yellow as well indicating an average signal.

The right hand LED on mine is purple and very bright. There are actually both blue and red LEDs lit together behind the right window so it looks purple from a distance. The thing is it looks to me like blue should light when it is getting a signal sent from the controller (blue is also referred to in the manual), and red indicating the heating is on. But it is always purple for both functions.

Can anyone with one of these tell me what their does?

Thanks
