Hi

I have been using silcone sealer for my bath and am wondering if there are any issues with applying a second application on top of the first one once it has cured completely?

Cheers for help in advance

Cheers for advice sime10

The reason I need to add another layer of silcone is because I ran out due to needing to apply a large amount within one section. This then caused me to get a the best finish possbile. It look good managed to seal all the way around, except. The problem is that the one part that took most of the silcone is not proud of the tile face, so as you run your finger along the section your finger goes further towards the wall than it should be.

Not sure if this explains it be never mind

use masking tape...keeps the mess down and makes neat lines ;)
