Hi all

My toilet does a two or three second refill of the tank every 5 hours or so.
Every few seconds a drip of water is seen within the bowl so I suspect a leaking seal. Is this the most likely culprit?

How easy would it be to change the seal on this set up and are there any pitfalls to watch out for?

I have recently replaced the refill valve which was fairly straightforward.

Are the seals also generally universal and would this likely fit?

Likely culprit is a seal, and the one in Screwfix might be the 1, but you’d need the make of flush valve to be certain.

Have you tried lowering the water level in the cistern with the fill valve, if set too high water could be dripping through the overflow.
