silicone sealent around downlights

I still not done this, but have found that there is a heat resistant sealant used by fireplace fitters for flues etc, upto 1000 degs.
I've seen it in black, but everywhere I look it seems to be red which isn't what I want.
Have a look on screwfix for fire and heat sealants.
And let me know if you find it in black or white.
