Sime 102 Deluxe

Hi Guys.

Does anyone know how to fix s SIME (Super 102 De Luxe) boiler. It has heating and hot water off it and the heating is fine but the water does not heat up. It has gradually gone down hill in 3 months, water has gradually got colder and colder and now seems to not trigger the boiler to heat it at all.

I'd like to know what the problem is before i get someone in

Don't know these boilers, but if it is a standard combi design I would think the diaphragm has split and slowly been getting worse until it has gone altogether.

In London we would charge about £106 to include a service.

Not many engineers are happy with Sime!

Diaphragm split eh. Sounds nasty and expensive to me.

I'll get someone in to give me a quote to fix it.

Yes, it sounds like a diverter valve failure.

Not all engineers are happy working on Sime boilers.
