Simonswerk K3179 Upvc Butt Door Hinge

A relative has this type of door hinge on an unglazed side door, the roller on the top of door binds when closing, the hinge side gap is equal at the top and bottom of the door.Can't see a way to adjust; online info is contradictory, mentions adjustable hinge pin seating and also allen key adjustment.?

I think you knock the pin out , lean the door away and wind or screw the middle portion of the hinge into the door in equal turns, then push door back into place and knock the pin back in

There are slotted caps on the pins , but slot are too thin to takes a screw driver , are they just plastic? will they knock out with pins?

Think so, take out any grub screws that grip the hinge pin and knock upwards, you'll probably only need to knock out the top pin and wind the hinge in a few turns to get the cam to clear

Don't see any grub screws, don't think there is room to rotate the hinge as it's tight to a wall when open , may wait till they return from holiday so I have help with door.Thanks
