Hi if they had the same power output and size,space and money were no issue what would be better a single or a double radiator would one heat up quicker than the other. thanks

I'm not sure i'm getting you properly here...

How could you have a single pannel radiator with the same power output and as a double, and it be the same size?

You would work out the heat requirements of the room and pick a rad to suit that, double or single doesn't really matter so long as it has the right output. The more volume of water a radiator has the slower it'll heat up but with propper system balancing this will be minimal.
 
The output is the same but the size of the radiator the space to put it in and the money are no issue would you rather put a longer single or a shorter double in the same space,the single would take up more wall space but stick out less or the double will take up less wall space but stick out more.

Very little in it really.

It could be argued that the longer single would give a more even spread of heat in the room, as the heat being convected would be spread out over a wider area.

Down to your personal preferences really.
