I'm about to install a stainless steel sink hopefully later this week
picture below of sink
I purchased form toolstation
McAlpine BWSTOFSS
mcalpineplumbing.com
www.toolstation.com
it comes with various felt/rubber washers
Would you just use the washers as supplied
OR silicon ??? the waste into the sink, the overflow etc
if silicone - what would you recommend , i tend to use CT1 - which is also an adhesive
I have read various other posts here and suggestions vary - BUT thats a post from 2004 - from use sanitary silicon, use plumbers mate & use Fernox LS-X
I will be buying some new silicon anyway - as i need to silicon in the Sink to worktop - the clips are no good and wont work
