Sink waste to square hopper.

Hi, I am going to put a sink into my garage for hand washing and general cleaning purposes. There is a square plastic hopper in the floor already and I was wondering if you can get an adapter for sink waste pipes that replaces the plastic grid?
My house is an old one with a combined rain and foul drain, the garage is new.
