Hi im knocking through into a garage I had converted a few months ago. The builders put a concrete lintel in the brick skin of the wall to make a new doorway but they left the inner skin leading into the house breeze block as I wasn't ready for it to be knocked through at that time. My problem is im now want to knock through but the height of the lintel if at the same height of the brick side will sit on half height of a block is this acceptable .
