Size Of Immersion Heater Cylinder - What Are My Options?

Me and hubby recently bought a small studio flat. It is very small. There is no gas only electric. There is a cylinder with an immersion heater which is about one metre high. Is it possible to get much smaller cylinders or heater elements. I am thinking of having something equivalent to an electric shower which heats water when a tap or bath is used and is very small

I do not have any idea if this is possible - Can anyone share their views pretty please

You can get small storage (less than 15 litres) or instantaneous water heaters, really intended for handwashing in toilets where there's no hot water supply.

Vented types work by controlling the cold water inlet so need a special vented tap on the hot outlet. They always drip. Unvented types can have awkward plumbing restrictions requiring pressure relief valves to drain.

Redring do a Powerstream 12kW instantaneous heater, but it seems not to have the best reputation, and apparently is very particular about what you connect it to.

Note it's not suitable for a bath, many types of thermostatic shower, kitchen use apart from handwashing, etc etc etc.
