Skimming over wet bonding coat

Long story, but I've got to ideally get a wall finished off in plster by end of tomorrow. If I do a bonding caot of plaster in the morning, is it okay to do the finshig coat whilst the boding coat is still wet (but hard)?

Yes but if you've never plastered you're in for a shock.

I've done plasterboard and got a perfect finish which I was vey happy with. Watched a training DVD which was really good. I've only got to do tw smallish areas ehind where radiators are going so tht I can paint them before the radiators are fitted.

Is plastering over boning coat really that much harder than board?

Also - should I PVA the bonding coat or is it not required because it's wet?

It's quite a lot harder - hence the apprenticeship.

No you don't need PVA if it's wet.

Dependant on the substrate will determine which float coat material to use for best skim results, it is important.
