Good afternoon everyone,
I wondered if someone could give me a bit of advice. I am trying to put a thin plaster coat over a textured ceiling which is in front of me as I walk down the stairs. I suppose its at an angle of about 45 degrees.
On either side of the stair case wall there runs these wooden boards on the wall which are caked in old paint. They seem to run into the ceiling and are surrounded by lots of cracked paint.
I wondered what type of preparation I would need to do to make this look better. I have added a photo so show you what I mean. If I plastered over the ceiling when I got up to this part it would surely look a mess.
There's all sorts of dust, paint flakes and a hole which I am at a loss as to what to do.
I hope you all have a nice day.
Reg
