Hi there from a newbee.

I am struggling to find a match for the skirting in my house. I am reluctatnt to rip out a room and redo with new as the whole house has this type in.

Could any wisened peeps cast their eye over this and possibly give me a clue as to what it is, and maybe a possible source.

It appears to me to be a hybrid of Torus and Ogee.

The size by the way is 115mm x 25mm

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Simon

heeeeellllloooo SimonSl and welcome :D :D :D
common practice save stocking 2 lots off skirting so saves space and stock

just go to your local timber yard and ask for 5" torus or ogee which ever you want

Failing this you can take a piece of this to your local wood yard and they will match the pattern and run some off for you as best they can, but be prepared to pay a little bit more as it will be a one off. I don't think you will find 25mm thick skirting in DIY Stores, not round these parts anyway.

Cheers Chaps.

I took your advice Chirpy and took it to a timber yard, the very helpful guy confirmed my fears that it is a unique run for the house. He said he could mill some for me at a resonable rate. so its sorted

Thanks again
