I am fixing new skirting board to my hallway. There are 6 internal joints, four of them are 45 degrees and two are at about 120 degrees. I can mitre the four but how do i do the other two. ps i have estimated the two at 120 degrees.

Internal angles should be scribed, not mitred (search this forum for more on the subject).

Mitres are unforgiving if you don't cut them accurately, and will always show gaps as soon as the skirting begins to shrink.

The internal angles should be secret mitred. As for the 120 angles what to do here is to take the skirting and lay it flat on the floor up against the wall and draw a line along the edge of the skirting. Do the same on the opposit side if the joint. Then take a sliding bevel and line up the interesction point of the 2 lines and the internal corner of the wall. This should be the angle of which your secret mitre should be cut.
