Sleeper retaining wall

I'm just on the last lap of finishing off my new garden (taken bloody months!). I'm building a railway sleeper retaining wall.

I've just read on a website that I should have laid a concrete bed, used 20mm mild steel dowels and all sorts. What I have actually done is fix 5" posts 2" into the ground with concrete; and I've also laid them at 5 degrees towards the earth being retained. I've covered the back in damp course proofing, and I've fixed each sleeper to two posts using four 6 inch long coach bolts with a 3/8 thread. The seem pretty stable.

Do I need to worry about the concrete bed and dowels?

Underneath the bottom sleeper is 4 inches of compacted hardcore ready for a patio

Wall is four sleepers (laid on side) high.

Unless you live in the north Lincs area
