Hi, i know its old but I have given a Sliding Mitre Saw PSMS21OL ( B & Q brand )

I am an oap with a brain tumor and value my arns and fingers lol. I have tried everywhere for a manual and videos before use with no success.

Can anybody please assist ??

Are you sure that's the right model number, absolutely nothing comes up on google. And if it's really ancient then you'll be out of luck anyway more than likely as the manual would never have been saved as a PDF. Or do you mean Black & Decker? even so nothing comes up for that model number either.

Thanks for taking the trouble to investigate

This is the beast

the problem you have is the rust on the arms will possibly make it dangerous unless its just surface rust as the surface need to be ultra smooth for the roller bearing to work smoothly any resitance at all will make it jerky and possibly highly inaccurate more so with the saw head fully forward[away from the fence]

that amount off rust suggests all the electrics may have been soaked so may not be safe so be very very careful and iff possible have it electrically checked

now personally love to refurb tools but those rusty arms would discourage me from spending much time trying to resolve the mechanical action side
