I have a handful of tiles that have slipped out of place on my bay window canopy. Is there a way I can push them back into place or do they need replacing?
You shouldn't need to use any sticky stuff to re-fix these tiles.
They're normally hooked on to the tile batten by nibs along the top edge of the tile. They can also be nailed through a pre-drilled hole into the batten.
It may be possible to lift the lead flashing carefully, to lift the top tiles and re-fix the lower tiles properly.
Re-dressing the lead back into place afterwards.
It is possible to partially lift the upper tiles and slide a lower tile back in.
A photo or more detail might help, e.g what type of tiles, plain or profiled?
How many slipped, whereabouts in relation to the top row of tiles?
