Does anyone have a solution for slippery paving flags? Is there anything that can be applied to make them non-slip?

A pressure washer does the trick - Forget chemicals!

I know that but I want to make the surface permanently non-slip without having to pressure wash it every couple of weeks. I didn't mean chemicals rather some sort of permanent application.
