Small Amber sphere on loft rafters

I have found Amber spheres attached to my loft rafters.
Over the winter there was some mild condensation on the loft felt.

Could these spheres be caused by the condensation?

more likely sap, if they are translucent and not insect. Might be on cracks or knots in the timber.

scrape them off and see if they are tacky or soft or dissolve in white spirit.

The Amber spheres are Translucent, but they are solid.
They don't seem to be in the cracks or knots.
If they dissolve in White spirit does that point to sap?

It will be resin out of the wood.
