Hi guys, I'm new so go easy on me!

Our house is about 18 months old and I've noticed recently some small cracks in a few course of the mortar above either corner of our bifolding doors.

I've not noticed it until recently but that doesn't mean it's new necessarily I may just not have seen it!

I've posted a photo below. Is this anything I should be worried about or could it just be the house settling?

Thanks!

Dan

Vibration from the doors
Contraction of the bricks
Flexing of the lintel (usually when built)
Normal movement - common above large openings in new build with those lintels

You are OK as long as the crack is more or less the same width along its length

It should be pointed really, but that will stand out. A bead of clear silicone might be a better option.
