I'm looking for some tiny lights to light up the house sign and a feature gable.

Sorry, the house sign is fitted in the top of the gable, which is quite a bit higher above the bedroom windows.

It is essentially just under the roof line.

I was thinking just 2 or 3 small lights to light it up in the evening, but all the spotlights I look at are too big and bulky. I don't want to be able to see the lights really.

As so high up it would need to be solar panel automatically or hard wired

(for me anyway) Its hard to imagine the layout, and that will dictate the type of light(s) that might be suitable.

Pop a photo on here of the gable etc, that may provide some inspiration!

I'm struggling to imagine it, but it sounds like it might be a job for a simple up/downlighter? LED if it's that high up

It's sort of like this...but the house sign is slightly bigger and higher up.

I'm looking for something that will light it up in the evening but not keen on those lights that people have hanging over the top.

Is there anything on the market just like a fairy light size or a little bit bigger?

I would put a number of Led down lights in the soffit ( maybe 2 on each side). Get the adjustable ones so they can be angled to illuminate the sign.

some people use "decking lights" they are small and flush in and usually 12 volt so the transformer will need locating somewhere, perhaps in the loft

Do you have the same bay roof as in the picture. ? If you do then possibly a miniature pencil beam projector style lamp could be fitted to the edge of the bay roof to project a circle of light onto and around the sign. Top of the range lamps can be masked to create an area of light that is shaped to fit to the sign ( but these are very expensive to buy and set up ).
