Small fence posts with rope

Can anyone suggest anywhere I could get some small fencing?

I'm after the type that is made up of small wooden posts that have rope threaded through them. The posts I've seen in other peoples gardens have a 45 degree cut at the top, and stand about 2 feet high. The rope loops through a large hole in the side of the post (near the top).

Can't seem to find them anywhere.

If you want two posts like this, buy an ordinary 6-ft one, saw it in half with a diagonal cut, and drill a hole in it.

Alternatively you can pay someone else to do it for you.

Yeah, was hoping not to have to do that, coz then I've got an issue with re-treating the sawn ends, and having to cut a 3" hole on every post.

I always thought it was an "off the shelf" kind of thing, as there's loads of them about.

Oh well.
