Hi Guy

My 1st post so hope someone can be of help.

I've seen lots of people given good advice on here, so here goes.

I have recently moved into my new home.

Above the small section of Garage that sticks out of the front of the property there is a valley where the concrete has come away and cracked, presumably from cold weather over the years (pic below)

Also i have an overflow from my guttering from the rear, looks as though its clogged up with moss.

I've just has a guy out to quote me a price for a full gutter clean and stripping out all the concrete from the valley including under the tiles and re-concreting.

I need the guttering cleaning for definite, but how easy would it be to re-do the valley myself (well my old man)

Plus if you were paying for the clean and valley re-doing what would be a reasonable price do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Simple enough job! dont know if your old man could do it as i dont know how handy he is especially at height.

Couple hundred tops where i am.

He could do it but prefer to get it done.

Quoted 150 for everything. Sound reasonable ?

You will need to lift the tiles to get a good mortar bed under the tiles.

A three in one mix plus add some glass fibre strands to the mix, to give it a bit extra strength.
