Hi, im about to move into my new home and in the kitchen there is a small brick built nib approx 600mm that runs from floor to ceiling and continues upstairs into the bathroom ( not managed to check in the loft yet), does anyone know what the purpose of this could be and if this could be knocked out? Photo might help, other than that, this is the wrong place to ask.
Have a look up onto the roof to see if the s.v.p. follows this nib and terminates above the tiles.
