smallest velux roof window

My builder has messed up big style and I dont think i am going to be able to have the velux window which was suppose to be going into my extension roof

The gap between the roof truses is 46cm and the smallest velux window is 55cm, is their anything I can do or another make of window

Just make the opening to the right size, it's not too difficult unless there's another problem?

I wasnt sure if you were allowed or able to cut the roof truses

Should double the roof rafters which I'm surprised it's not showing in the bottom picture
