Hi All,

Looking at getting a couple of windows fitted for my loft and, naturally, I have decided to go for the Velux ones (someone I know who makes windows said Velux are the best because of warranty etc... - which i dont doubt)

The question I have is: Can anyone notice any difference in these two windows?

Now, I am sure there must be something as it wouldn't cost another £150 for nothing, would it?

(and i do apologize if its obvious - I can be horrendously blind when looking at this stuff)

I considered this option when buying mine but live in a relatively quiet area so went with the normal double glazed unit

Yeah, I live in the middle of nowhere... dont think ill need extra noise reduction. Thanks for the help!

If it is in a bedroom sound reducing would help with the rain noise too

The cheaper window is wood painted white, the more expensive
window is white polyurathane which is easier to clean
and better for bathrooms ie. lots of moisture.
