Smart heating advice

Hello,

I have a fairly big 4 bed house and I want a smart heating system I can control from my phone, and that I can zone so I don't heat the whole house at one time.

My problem is I don't have TRVs at the moment. Can anyone advise?

Do I need to install TRVs before I can get one of these systems and is that an expensive job? And does anyone have any view on which of these smart systems (evoHome, Heat Genius, Nest, Hive, todo etc) would be best? Someone suggested I could install smart TRVs with one system and combine that with Nest/Hive. Any advice would be great!

Keep it simple and have a plan of action ( control ) ready for when the phone is lost or cannot connect.

In normal use, loss of the phone is not important because without an override by phone the control follows the preset program!

I don't need to be employed. After a career of 50 years I am retired with an more than adequate pension ( so I must have done something right )
