Smart Light Switch Etc. Recommendation.

Hi all,
Whilst I am doing quite a lot of work in our new house, I'm thinking about installing smart Alexa controlled light switches around the house and possibly a motion sensor activated light in the bathroom. What would you all recommend? I'm not bothered about opening curtain controllers, or anything like that. No wasted subscriptions, just simple, or possible if a local hub is required, that's fine. Thanks

I use Tapo (TP-Link) as the switches don't need a neutral, they are battery powered. No flicking lights etc, works with any bulb.

I have gone with a Sonoff twin light switch and a Sonoff Zigbee hub to try. If they play nice, I will extend the system.
I will report back once they are installed. It seems the Zigbee system is compatible with quite a few brands, so time will tell.
