As you will probably find getting the system to work as you wish takes a bit of trial and error. Moving from an "on/off" system with a single source of temperature data to one with many inputs has a learning curve. You may also want to investigate if comfort or eco mode work for you. I'd recommend you enable eco mode which cuts the heating early if the wiser system calculates your setpoint temp will be maintained until the scheduled end time. Comfort mode is more of an acquired taste, this brings the heating on up to 3 hours early with the aim of achieving the setpoint temp by the desired time.
