Smashed digistat replacement,

unfortunately our wall digistat got mashed by guys delivering furniture today.

Is there any law saying we need a time clock as well ?.
iIRC when the digistat was installed it met part l and we were forced to have one.

But the thermostat shown does not incorporate time control, which is required by Building Regulations.

PS I hope the delivery company are paying for it! They should have Public Liability Insurance, but their excess is probably more than the cost of the stat.

FFs what are you on about.You mention PL insurance,i have checked with the insurance ombudsman and they agree you are misguided also the supply shop agrees you are talking twaddle.
Please dont report me to the building regulation police,ffs

I hardly think that the heating police will kick your door in because you dont have a timer FFS
